🎙 About The Episode

Jannik Zürn is pursuing a Ph.D. in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Freiburg in Germany. In his research, he aims at improving robot perception using unsupervised and self-supervised learning techniques. In his previous studies and in his Master's Thesis, he focussed on applying Deep Learning for problems in Computational Fluid Dynamics.

In this episode, Jannik will talk about how deep learning can be used for computational fluid dynamics, how to overcome obstacles when setting up the problem, and also what bottlenecks Jannik faced during his investigations. We will also talk about Robotics and what Jannik thinks about Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and what he would ask such a system.
